Rental Policy

1. Booking & Payment

Please book ahead to secure your preferred clubs. Bookings are subject to availability, and rental prices depend on your selected equipment, rental dates and any extras.

After submitting your booking, follow the payment instructions provided by email. Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received, unless we have agreed otherwise in advance.

A refundable 1,000 THB security deposit per set is required in addition to the rental charge. The rental charge and deposit must be paid before equipment is released.

Longer-rental discounts are applied automatically by the booking system. For extended rentals or group bookings, please contact us for a personalised quote.

2. Rental Inclusions

Your rental includes the clubs listed in your chosen set’s description, a golf bag and the supplied headcovers. Bag type depends on the set booked and availability.

We clean and inspect equipment before each rental. Please check your set at collection and let us know about any existing damage or missing items before accepting it.

Golf balls, tees, ball markers, umbrellas, rangefinders and speakers are not included unless listed in your booking. Rental accessories and Pro Shop purchases are available to add to your order for collection with your clubs.

3. Security Deposit

The 1,000 THB refundable deposit per set helps cover loss, damage or outstanding rental charges. It does not limit your responsibility for the equipment’s repair or replacement cost.

We inspect the equipment when it is returned. Your deposit is refunded in full when all items are returned on time, with no outstanding charges or damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Cash deposits are refunded in cash after inspection. Deposits paid electronically are refunded through the original payment method within 48 hours of inspection. Your payment provider’s processing time affects when the refund appears in your account.

If a deduction is needed, we will explain the reason and the amount. Any charges above the deposit remain payable by the renter.

4. Collection & Return

Collect and return your equipment at our pickup location on Soi Chiyapoon, Central Pattaya. Your confirmation email includes detailed instructions and a location link.

• Collection: from 6 p.m. on the day before your first rental day.
• Return: by 5 p.m. on the final day of your rental.
• Other collection arrangements: please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. Alternative times are subject to agreement and availability.
• Identification: please bring your passport for a photo at collection.

Please return all clubs, the bag, headcovers and rented accessories together. A basic wipe-down is appreciated so the equipment is ready for inspection.

If you expect to be late, contact us as soon as possible. Extensions require our agreement and depend on availability. Late returns or extra rental days are subject to additional charges.

5. Delivery by Arrangement

Delivery is offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on the rental term, your required location and our availability. The customer pays all agreed delivery costs.

Please contact us before booking to discuss your requirements. We will confirm whether delivery is available and agree the location, timing and charge with you in advance.

Delivery is not included in the rental price and is not guaranteed. Any return transport must also be agreed separately, with the cost paid by the customer.

6. Proper Use of Equipment

Please care for the equipment as you would your own. Clubs are for normal golfing use at golf courses, driving ranges and indoor simulators.

• Use the equipment within Chonburi province unless we have approved another location in advance.
• Avoid playing shots from cart paths, rocky ground or other hard surfaces.
• Check your swing path for trees, branches, rocks and exposed roots.
• Clean clubs during play and replace headcovers after use.
• Do not throw, deliberately strike objects with, alter or misuse the equipment.
• Do not lend or sub-rent equipment to anyone else.

7. Loss, Theft or Damage

You are responsible for all rented equipment from the time you receive it until it is returned to and accepted by Pattaya Golf Rentals. Please report loss, theft or damage promptly.

Normal wear and tear, including minor marks from proper golfing use, is expected. Damage beyond normal wear, missing items and theft are charged at the applicable repair or replacement cost.

The following charges and replacement-value guides apply:

• Complete Budget set, lost or stolen: 10,000–15,000 THB.
• Complete Standard set, lost or stolen: 25,000–35,000 THB.
• Complete Premium set, lost or stolen: 40,000–60,000 THB.
• Complete Pro set, lost or stolen: 60,000–100,000+ THB.
• Individual club, lost or stolen: 3,000–15,000 THB.
• Bent or broken shaft: 2,000 THB per club.
• Grip damaged through negligence or misuse: 1,000 THB per club.
• Rangefinder, lost, stolen or damaged: 5,000 THB.
• Umbrella, lost, stolen or damaged: 1,500 THB.
• Cart bag damaged through negligence or misuse: 4,000 THB.
• Stand bag damaged through negligence or misuse: 2,500 THB.
• Missing headcover: 500 THB each.

For items without a listed charge, the current repair or replacement cost applies. We will explain the assessment and any amount due. Your deposit will be applied towards outstanding charges, with any remaining balance payable by you.

8. Cancellations, Modifications & Credits

We understand travel plans sometimes change. Please email us as soon as possible if you need to adjust your booking.

• Booking changes: please give at least 24 hours’ notice before your rental starts. Changes depend on equipment availability, and any price difference will be confirmed with you.
• Cancellations: cancellations received at least 48 hours before your rental starts receive credit for the rental amount paid.
• Credit validity: credit is valid for 12 months from the original booking date. It is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.
• Late cancellations and no-shows: no rental refund or credit is provided for cancellations received less than 48 hours before the rental starts or for missed collections without an agreed change.

If we are unable to accommodate a requested change, the cancellation terms above apply. A refundable security deposit paid for equipment you have not received is returned separately from any rental credit.

9. Customer Responsibility

Please store equipment securely in a dry location and take care when transporting it. Do not leave clubs unattended or unsecured.

Before accepting your set, check the clubs, bag and accessories and tell us about any concerns. Keep all supplied items together throughout your rental.

You must be at least 18 years old to rent equipment and provide accurate booking and contact details.

10. Electronic Tracking of Equipment

Our golf sets contain electronic tracking devices. These help us locate lost or stolen equipment and check it remains within the agreed rental area.

Please do not remove, disable or interfere with a tracking device. Tampering with a device will result in termination of the rental agreement and exclusion from future rentals.

11. Right to Refuse or End a Rental

To protect our customers, staff and equipment, we reserve the right to refuse or end a rental where there is suspected misuse, aggressive behaviour, a breach of this policy, or failure to provide the required payment, deposit or identification.

Rental charges are not refundable where the rental is refused or ended because of a breach of these requirements. Any security deposit is handled under Section 3.

12. Limitations of Use

Equipment must remain within Chonburi province unless Pattaya Golf Rentals has approved another location before the rental begins.

Taking equipment outside the approved area without permission will result in termination of the rental agreement. Please contact us before booking if your plans include golf elsewhere.
